I would definately bet the over with the Texans who are a team on the rise.  They do play in a tough division but don’t sell this improving young team short.  I think they will finish in third place in the AFC South ahead of the Titans as they will win more than half of their games for the first time in team history.

The Texans are improving every day and it will start to show on the scoreboard a little more often than it has the last few seasons.  Still, without a professional offensive line the Texans upside is capped at 7-8 wins this season.  Still, Coach Kubiak has his team going in the right direction so I think a small bet on the over is warranted here.

The current over/under for Texans wins is 5 1/2.  The Texans are 120-1 to win the Super Bowl and 60-1 to win the AFC.

I suggest a small play on the over.  Coach Kubiak did a nice job of bringing in talent even though they made an error in not selecting Reggie Bush.

Take the Texans in the city grudge match

The Texans get fired up when they travel to Tennessee and battle the old “Houston Oilers”.  On October 29th the Texans roll up to Tennessee sporting a 3-1 ATS mark in theie last four game there.  The Texans’ offense should be much improved this season and I see David Carr having a really good game vs. a soft pass defense.

Score one for the Texans.
