48-year old head coach Gary Kubiak got his team really close to making the playoffs for the first time in franchise history last season.  The Texans finished up 9-7 (56.3%) in 2009.  In four years in charge of the Texans, Kubiak is 31-33 (48.4%) during the regular season.  The Texans will need the defense to step up in 2010 just like the offense did in 2009.  The AFC South is a very tough division but it would be upsetting if the Texans didn’t make the playoffs in 2010.
