The Texans have signed 26-year old DT Shaun Cody to a 3-year contract.  Cody is a huge man at 6′4″, 310 pounds so he should help out the run defense in 2009 for the Texans.  He played in all 16 games for the Lions last season making 36 tackles and defensing 3 passes.  Cody has now played in 53 games in his NFL career in which he has made 91 tackles, defensed 4 passes, has 1.5 sacks, forced 1 fumble and intercepted 1 pass.  This was a good signing for the Texans.
