The Houston Texans place cornerback Roc Alexander on Injured Reserve

Blogged under Bloglockers,Breaking News,Front Page,General,Injury Reports by dawgpounded on Tuesday 31 July 2007 at 7:12 am

The Texans have placed reserve cornerback Roc Alexander on the Injured Reserve list thus ending his season as he has been slow to recover from a torn ACL.  He only played in 1 game last season for the Texans and he only made 1 tackle and returned 1 kickoff for 18 yards.  Alexander has played three seasons in his NFL career covering 27 games and he has made 25 tackles and has 2 fumble recoveries.  He has also returned 32 kickoffs for 665 yards (20.8 avg).  This isn’t much of a loss for the Texans.

Every hurt man is a lost to the team, inspite of how many downs he has played. This can truly break the spirit for the team. Sorry you feel that way!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I meant by they won’t miss him much is that he did absolutely nothing for the Texans last season. I don’t think they will miss him on the field as they should easily be able to replace the 1 tackle that he made last season.
