One has to wonder how long the Texans are going to keep David Carr around as the starting QB.  In Carr’s defense, the Texans have never had a decent line in front of him and he’s taken a beating in his career.  Carr started all 16 games this season and he completed 302 of 442 passes (68.3%) for 2,767 yards with 11 TDs and 12 INTs.  He also carried the ball 53 times for 195 yards (3.7 ypc) with 2 TDs.  For his career, Carr has played in 76 games (75 starts) and has completed 1,243 of 2,070 passes (60%) for 13,391 yards with 59 TD passes and 65 interceptions.  Carr has a career QB rating of 75.5.  Carr also has carried the football 268 times for 1,235 yards rushing (4.6 ypc) and 8 TD runs.

Sage Rosenfels played in 4 games this season and completed 27 of 39 passes (69.2%) for 265 yards with 3 TDs and 1 INT.  Rosenfels carried the ball 4 times for 5 yards (1.3 ypc).  For his career, Rosenfels has played in 17 games (2 starts) and has completed 81 of 148 passes (54.7%) for 1,041 yards with 9 TDs and 7 INTs.  He has a career rating of 77.6.  Sage hasn’t been much of a runner with 13 carries for 10 yards (0.8 ypc).
