Kicker Kris Brown nailed a 48 yard field goal as time expired to give the Texans a much deserved home win.  The Texans offense really took it to the Colts lame defense yesterday.  David Carr was very efficient as he completed 16 of 23 passes for 163 yards and a TD.  Ron Dayne was unstoppable and had his best game ever in the NFL.  Dayne carried the ball 32 times for 153 yards (4.8 ypc) and 2 TDs.  Rookie RB Chris Taylor got some action as he carried the ball 8 times for 24 yards (3.0 ypc) and he caught 2 passes for 28 yards.  Andre Johnson led the receivers with 4 catches for 48 yards.  Reserve RB Vonta Leach caught 3 passes for 18 yards and a TD.

DeMeco Ryans led the Texans defense as usual with 8 tackles.  The Texans didn’t really play well, but they played good enough to pull out a tight win.  The Colts carried the football 18 times for 114 yards (6.3 ypc).  The Colts also completed 21 of 27 passes for 205 net yards passing.

The Texans improved to 5-10 on the season with this huge victory over the Colts.
