The Texans played a complete football game and won all three phases of the football game!  QB David Carr had another very good football game.  Carr completed 25 of 34 passes for 224 yards and 2 TDs.  Rookie RB Wali Lundy had a good game carrying the ball 19 times for 93 yards (4.9 ypc) and a TD.  Lundy also caught 4 passes for 15 yards.  RB Samkon Gado pitched in 10 carries for 27 yards (2.7 ypc) and caught 3 passes for 15 yards.  WR Andre Johnson had his usual stellar game, catching 8 passes for 106 yards and a TD.  TE Owen Daniels caught 2 passes for 20 yards and a TD.

The defense played it’s best game of the year on Sunday.  LB Morlon Greenwood had 6 tackles and recovered a fumble.  Rookie DE Mario Williams had a sack and a fumble recovery.  The Texans allowed the Jaguars to rush for 102 yards on 25 carries (4.1 ypc).  The Jaguars could only muster 118 net yards passing on 14 of 28 completions.

This could be the beginning of something good in Houston if the O-Line and Defense can keep playing like they did against the Jaguars.
