The Redskins absolutely dominated the Texans from the opening kick-off to the final gun.  The Texans defense gave up 234 yards rushing on 41 carries (5.7 ypc).  The Redskins completed 88.9% of their passes for 261 net yards passing.  QB Mark Brunell set an NFL record by completing 23 consecutive passes!  CB Dunta Robinson had 11 tackles, CB Lewis Sanders had 10 tackles and LB Demeco Ryans had 10 tackles.

QB David Carr completed 19 of 29 passes for 208 yards with 2 TDs and an interception.  Ron Dayne had 14 carries for 58 yards (4.1 ypc).  WR Andre Johnson had a huge game, catching 11 passes for 152 yards.  Eric Moulds caught 4 passes for 27 yards.  Carr hit TEs Mark Bruener and Owen Daniels each for a 2 yard TD.

This game was much worse than the final score indicates.
