With Domanick Davis nursing injuries, the young Texans running backs are taking advantage of the extra playing time.  Vernand Morency has been great this pre-season, and has solidified his hold as Davis’ back-up.  Morency has carried the ball 11 times for 95 yards (8.6 ypc) and 2 TDs.  Wali Lundy, who lasted until the sixth round because of injury concerns, is healthy and looking good.  Lundy has carried the ball 16 times for 99 yards (6.2 ypc) and a TD.  Lundy is a lock now to make the team.
